Early Life:
Warren Buffett was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to a stockbroker father during the Great Depression, leading to a challenging childhood. From a young age, Buffett exhibited a keen business and investment sense. At five, he sold chewing gum door-to-door, and at six, he began selling Coca-Cola by the bottle, recruiting friends to collect golf balls at a nearby course to clean and resell them.
In 1941, at the age of 11, Buffett bought his first stock. By 13, he was delivering newspapers and selling magazines, earning as much as a standard white-collar worker of that time.
In 1947, Buffett entered the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania to study finance and business management. While studying, he delivered newspapers and registered a business, "Buffett Golf Ball Company," to sell golf balls. He later transferred to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, earning a bachelor's degree in economics in just one year.
In 1950, after being rejected by Harvard, Buffett read Benjamin Graham's "The Intelligent Investor," which inspired him to pursue value investing. He then enrolled at Columbia Business School to study under Graham, gaining extensive knowledge and insight.
In 1951, at 21, Buffett graduated from Columbia with a master's degree in economics, achieving the highest A+ grades.

Buffett's Legendary Investment Career:
In 1956, at 26, Buffett established a limited partnership to conduct investment operations, initially managing $105,000 from himself and close friends and relatives.
By 1965, he managed $37 million and fully acquired a struggling textile firm, Berkshire Hathaway.
In 1968, Buffett's funds grew to $104 million, with $25 million being his share. That year, the company's stock rose by 46%.
In 1988, after Coca-Cola's stock price fell by 25% from its pre-crash peak, Buffett began purchasing its shares.
By 1989, Berkshire Hathaway owned $1.02 billion worth of Coca-Cola stock, making up 7% of the company's total shares, bought at an average of $10.96 per share. Within three years, the value of Buffett's investment in Coca-Cola rose to $3.75 billion.
In 2006, Buffett donated $37.5 billion to five charitable organizations, including $30 billion to his friend Bill Gates' foundation.
In 2016, Buffett started buying Apple stock, continuing through 2017.
By 2022, Berkshire Hathaway's investment in Apple had become one of Buffett's most successful, with paper gains exceeding $120 billion.
Personal Life:
In 1952, Buffett married Susan Thompson, whose family had been friends with his for years. Susan passed away in 2004. In 2006, Buffett married Astrid Menks, who had been in a relationship with him for decades with Susan's knowledge and blessing before her passing.
Buffett prefers to stay out of the spotlight, dislikes flamboyance, enjoys drinking cherry Coke, eating hamburgers and fries, playing bridge, and socializing over golf. Occasionally, he also plays and sings with a ukulele among friends.
In 2022, Buffett stated that his health was generally good, though age had caused some issues, like forgetting names and reading slower than before.
In 2024, Buffett announced that all his remaining wealth would be donated to a newly established charitable trust fund after his death, overseen by his daughter Susan Buffett and his two sons, Howard Buffett and Peter Buffett.
